Orbital Welding System

orbital-welds-2019

The orbital welding system is a full-function weld system that includes torch travel, automatic torch height, either linear or pendulum oscillation and either dual or single wire feed. It is designed for multi-pass GTAW with a radial clearance requirement of only 3.5” and capable of welding diameters of 6” and up or can be configured for flat track.

Benefits

  • 6” to 36” sizing
  • Weight is 18 pounds
  • Radial clearance as low as 3.5”
  • Consistent welds
  • Increased production

Heat Treatment

heat-treat

Heat treatment services in welding involve controlled heating and cooling to enhance the strength, durability, and performance of welded joints. Key methods include annealing, normalizing, quenching, and tempering. These processes relieve stress, reduce hardness, and improve structural integrity, ensuring reliable and high-quality welds.

  1. Full function induction heating using ceramic heating pads, with multiple ports to control multiple welds at one time while recording each weld individually.
  2. Full function induction heating systems allowing full control of heat input and automation to the heat treat process while data collection is obtained, ensuring reliable and high-quality welds.
